Microsoft Flight Simulator will introduce the Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter in the Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition coming out on November 11, 2022. The G2 has rapidly increased in popularity, both in the U.S. and across the world. “Coupled with its modern features and sleek design, the genuine interest by Guimbal and the high level of collaboration with the Microsoft Flight Simulator team allowed us to get a very accurate digital representation of this cutting-edge helicopter,” says Jorg Neumann, Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The Cabri G2 joins iconic airframes such as the Howard Hughes Spruce Goose, de Havilland Beaver, and the Wright Flyer in the Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition. Each aircraft serves a unique purpose and adds something new to the Microsoft Flight Simulator experience. “We are thrilled to be working with Microsoft Flight Simulator to add the G2 to the simulator” says Sarah Brazel, Manager of Guimbal Sales and Support for Precision. “Our hope for this program is that a new generation will be inspired by the possibilities of modern flight training and will see real career opportunities in the helicopter industry.”
Microsoft Flight Simulator has been inspiring minds, young and old, for 40 years now, to take to the skies on their accessible-to-anyone platform and with extensive aircraft offerings. Precision and Guimbal are excited to be joining Microsoft Flight Simulator in bringing the future of flight training – modern, safe, and a little bit sexy – to a whole new audience.
