Airbus to display EMS H145 at F-AIR Columbia

Airbus celebrates its return to the F-AIR 2023 aeronautical event that will take place in Rionegro, Antioquia from July 12 to 16, to present its most advanced security and defense solutions and portfolio of products and services for the aeronautical industry Colombian.

Airbus Defense and Space will exhibit different products in the field of military aircraft and services that will undoubtedly be of interest to visitors. These include the A330 MRTT, a tanker, in-flight refueling and transport aircraft suitable for relief missions during natural disasters and emergency support; and the static exhibition of the new generation tactical aircarrier in the light and medium segment, C295, of the Colombian Air Force.

Likewise, visitors will be able to see images and material related to the A400M at the stand, the most advanced transport aircraft tested, certified and in operation of the 21st century, which in addition to functioning as a military transport, is capable of carrying out tactical, strategic and in-flight refueling.

It will also be promoting its SIRTAP unmanned aerial system, designed to fly in the most demanding environmental and operational conditions. Visitors will be able to see a mock-up of this project, which consolidates Airbus’ commitment to developing a long-term program with the local aerospace industry.

Airbus Helicopters, for its part, will exhibit the H145 twin-engine helicopter in its version for Emergency Medical Services (EMS), an aircraft that is configured as a first-response instrument for natural disasters, humanitarian assistance and entry into remote areas or those lacking access by any means of another way. In the same way, the company will present to the country the capabilities of the H160 medium helicopter, due to its versatility for different configurations, ranging from missions in the offshore energy sector to parapublic and search and rescue (SAR).

The AS365 Dauphin medium helicopter will also stand out due to its unique design and its ability to perform a wide variety of maritime surveillance and protection missions of the Colombian coasts.

Airbus will also participate in the academic agenda on July 13 at 12:00 p.m. with the talk “UAS and its multi-role evolution at the service of society”, led by the expert Fernando Ciria.
