We’re thrilled to announce that nominations are now open for the annual Salute to Excellence Awards program. This is your chance to recognize an individual, team, or organization for superior achievement in the vertical aviation industry. The best part? Anyone can submit a nomination, and anyone can be nominated. HAI membership is not required!
Our selection committee is on the lookout for exceptional nominees whose passion for excellence has had a lasting impact on their colleagues, their community, or the industry as a whole. Perhaps they’ve inspired others through guidance, instruction, or leading by example. Perhaps they’ve performed heroic acts or consistently delivered exceptional work throughout their career. Share their story with us, and we may honor your nominee with a prestigious Salute to Excellence Award for their remarkable contributions.

Tips for producing a nomination package with the best chance of success:
- Explain HOW your nominee demonstrates the highest level of professionalism
- Tell us WHY their work is important to their colleagues, their customers, their community, or the industry
- Include supporting materials such as letters of recommendation from others who support the nomination, news stories, video clips, etc., that make a solid case for the nominee’s selection as the outstanding entrant in the chosen category.
The Salute to Excellence winners will be honored at HAI HELI-EXPO 2024 in Anaheim, California, Feb. 26–29 (exhibits open Feb. 27–29).
