Originally from Germany, Steffen brings with him a global mindset. Fluent in five (5) languages, he has developed and won or renewed business in more than twenty-five countries and his professional experience goes beyond these borders having worked in eight nations – including ten (10) years in Brazil.

While joining IAM from the EVTOL industry, Steffen has gained extensive helicopter industry expertise through previous employment with OEM’s (Airbus Helicopters and Vertical Aerospace), lessors (Waypoint Leasing), and operators (Era Helicopters, Aeroleo Aero Taxi, now “Bristow Brazil”, and NHV). He has served numerous sectors and customer groups from oil rig personnel, search and rescue, emergency medical services, utility, pipeline monitoring, mining, harbor pilot services and training to VIP in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, and possesses impressive working knowledge with corporate, public, start-up, and American and French Private-Equity backed businesses up to the CEO level.

Currently based in Brazil, Steffen looks forward to increasing IAM’s presence in Latin America with his extensive network, experience, and unparalleled insight into the value chain of the helicopter industry in its entirety.
