New CEO appointed at Airbus Helicopters Mexico

With the purpose of strengthening and promoting operations, products and services in benefit of customers, the country and its society, Airbus announced the appointment of Guillaume Leprince as its new General Director for Airbus Helicopters Mexico.

With over 20 years of experience in the rotary wing industry, Guillaume is responsible for overseeing sales, customization, support, training, spare parts and maintenance of a fleet of more than 390 helicopters belonging to 21 countries in the region, of which 42% are based in Mexico. Guillaume Leprince joined Airbus Helicopters in 2003 as Sales Director for Airbus Helicopters México, where he was in charge of sales and customer service for the presence of Airbus Helicopters in Mexico. Guillaume was later Successfully promoted to the position of Senior Sales Director for Southern Europe North and Senior Sales Director of Government Sales for South America, before joining Airbus Helicopters Canada in 2009 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In 2014, Guillaume joined Airbus Helicopters Japan as Head of Sales and Marketing, and in 2019 he assumed leadership of Airbus Helicopters in Japan as General Director.

Guillaume graduated from the French Business School of Angers (ESSCA) and the Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD).

Airbus has been present in Mexico for more than 40 years and has a commitment to long term with the development of the aeronautical and aerospace industry in the country.
