Cubic awarded $42M contract for MH-60 video upgrades

Cubic Defense Applications Inc., San Diego, California, is awarded a $41,700,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to procure a maximum of 50 each of the following hardware: video distribution controller, display unit, radio frequency amplifier, cable to Full Motion Video (FMV) assembly, omnidirectional antenna, radome, aircraft cables for A3 kit, mission cables kit, FMV rack, directional antenna mount, portable common data link accessory kits, and portable common data link test sets, as well as system engineering and logistics in support of maintenance, upgrades, and deployment of the FMV also known as KnightLink system for the MH-60 Sierra helicopter for the Navy. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama (72%); and San Diego, California (28%), and is expected to be completed in September 2025. No funds will be obligated at the time of award; funds will be obligated on individual orders as they are issued. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N0001923D0006).
