Yorkshire Air Ambulance has placed an order for a third Airbus H145, with delivery expected in Autumn 2024.  This will provide greater coverage during maintenance downtime periods on the two primary aircraft – one of which is seen in the image below.

The existing pair were delivered in April and June 2023.

In the recently published Annual Report, the “Strategic Report and Trustees’ Report” states that “The Trustee are purchasing one helicopter in October 2024, fund for this purpose are held within the Helicopter Replacement Reserved and total £7.8M”.  We note that as this news is published, that is the equivalent of €9.0M or US$9.7M
