Robinson Helicopter Company, a pioneer in civilian rotorcraft, now has a horizontal stabilizer retrofit kit available for purchase at a substantial discount on www.robinsonheli.com.

The $6,760 KI-285-1 retrofit kit is available at a discounted price of $3,600 through the end of December 2024. The kit allows the installation of the new symmetrical stabilizer on existing tailcones in the field without requiring an upgrade to the new tailcone.

“We encourage all R66 owners to install the new stabilizer configuration utilizing the retrofit kit. The new stabilizer improves stability of the aircraft at high speeds and in turbulence,” said Robinson Helicopter President, Kurt Robinson.

This horizontal stabilizer configuration is now standard on all new production FAA-registered R66 Turbine helicopters.
