IAR Romania has selected Nighthawk Flight Systems to modify the Primary Attitude Display to provide Radar Altitude measurement in meters. The displays will support the Puma L fleet for the Romanian military. The SA4550 Primary Attitude Display has an LED-backlit display with pilot-configurable single- or dual-cue flight director command bars and a glideslope/localizer deviation indicator. The SA4450 accepts input from existing sensors to provide a clear, reliable depiction of the aircraft’s attitude in pitch and roll. The patented bright, high-contrast display provides unmatched readability in any lighting with optional night-vision goggle compatibility.
