Bell to showcase the B407GXi and B505 at APSCON 2024

At this year’s Airborne Public Safety Association Conference (APSCON), Bell is poised to showcase the Bell 505 and Bell 407GXi – two of its dynamic public safety solutions. In addition to its static displays, Bell public safety segment specialist will be onsite to host a New Public Safety Aviation Unit Start-Up Class and a Bell Training Academy instructor will instruct a Bell 505 Pilot Ground School Course – two unique courses that highlight Bell’s customer service offerings.

The Bell 505 is transforming aerial operations for those in public safety roles across the world. The aircraft, thoroughly designed with customer feedback, offers a balance of versatility, performance, and cost-effectiveness. It seats up to four passengers and can reach speeds of up to 125 knots (231 km/h), making it a force multiplier in emergency situations. The Bell 505 Law Enforcement aircraft features advanced Garmin G1000H NXi avionics, a moving map and IR Camera display, a dual-channel FADEC-controlled engine, and a customizable cabin, quickly becoming a top choice for public safety missions.

The Bell 407GXi is known for its performance and fuel efficiency, cruising effortlessly at 133 knots (246 km/h). The helicopter’s advanced Garmin G1000H NXi Flight Deck improves situational awareness and reduces pilot workload by presenting critical safety information on its all-glass avionic suite. The platform is favored during various missions, including patrol, search and rescue, troop transport, and emergency medical services.
