In a key milestone for Latin American aviation, Ecocopter+Helisul, through its Chilean subsidiary, became the first company in Brazil to obtain official authorization from the ANAC for the use of the Flight Training Simulator of the AS350 helicopter. H125.
This state-of-the-art device, located at the Ecocopter+Helisul facilities in Santiago, Chile, is an example of the technology applied to pilot training, offering a safe and controlled learning environment that faithfully replicates the flight experience.
“The continuous training of pilots, through advanced devices such as the FTD-5, is essential to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency in the aviation sector. We are very happy with this new milestone that we achieved in Brazil since, from now on, is part of our list of services made available to clients and all those who require it.” says Helisul’s operational superintendent, Bruno Biesuz.
The ANAC certification not only validates the quality and realism of the simulator, but also recognizes that this technology meets the highest standards in terms of technology, safety and aeronautical education. The Aeschylo simulator allows pilots to face a variety of scenarios and weather conditions, ensuring comprehensive preparation for the challenges of real flight.
“The cockpits are exact replicas and allow for a series of emergency training such as engine fire, tail rotor failure, battery failure, generator, Fadec, among others, as well as inadvertent entry training in instrument flight with a impeccable realism,” says Claudio Moreno, head of Ecotraining Ecocopter+Helisul.
With ANAC certification, the company is positioned at the forefront of pilot training in Latam, ensuring that its programs are aligned with international regulations and industry best practices. In fact, the aeronautical company also has certifications in Chile, Ecuador and Argentina.
“The simulator is a vital tool in the Ecocopter+Helisul training curriculum, allowing pilots to develop crucial skills without the risks associated with physical flight. The experience accumulated in the simulator is invaluable, providing a solid foundation on which pilots can build their career,” emphasizes Francisco Díaz, Ecocopter+Helisul operations manager.
This new certification opens new doors for the expansion of Latam pilot training services and consolidates this training center as one of the most important on the continent and globally.
