Ascent AeroSystems, the world’s leading manufacturer of compact, high-performance coaxial unmanned aerial vehicle drone systems, named Amy Romano as the new vice president of marketing and communications. A veteran marketing communications professional with experience in both military and commercial sectors, Romano will spearhead strategic development and execution of Ascent’s marketing communications initiatives including brand strategy, public relations, marketing, digital and social media, sales enablement and events.
“Amy’s addition to the Ascent AeroSystems team comes at an exciting time in our company’s evolution,” remarked Ascent AeroSystems cofounder and CEO Peter Fuchs. “We have delivered hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicle systems to frontline soldiers, first responders, and industrial professionals. Improving our marketing presence will help generate long-term value for the company and our customers as we scale to meet the growing global demand for reliable, flexible small UAV solutions.”

“Ascent’s Spirit and NX30 are truly game-changing UAV platforms, engineered to solve many of the challenges military, public safety and enterprise operators face with the current cadre of off-the-shelf solutions,” said Romano. “It is an honor to join this team at such a pivotal time and a privilege to lead the company’s marketing and communications efforts through our next phase of growth.”
