An Air Methods Bell 407 has been vandalised over the weekend by graffiti.  Known by its callsign “Mercy Air 22”, the helicopter fuselage was covered on both sides, and found early Sunday.  Local news outlet Victorville Daily press quoted San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in saying that the vandalism was first reported just after 5:20 a.m. Sunday.

The location at Hesperia Airport does not have overnight security cover.  This particular helicopter has been based at Hesperia for at least the last five years
