Rotortrade is proud to announce its role as the Founding Partner of the Fred North Helicopter Safety Mentorship Program, set to launch at the European Rotors, in Amsterdam on November 5th, 2024. This groundbreaking initiative, curated by some of the most experienced helicopter pilots in the world, aims to elevate safety standards within the global helicopter community.

Fred North, widely regarded as one of the most experienced helicopter pilots in the world, has been a valued brand ambassador for Rotortrade for many years. His expertise and dedication to safety have always aligned with Rotortrade’s core values. The partnership in launching the Fred North Helicopter Safety Mentorship Program further solidifies the long-standing relationship between Fred North and Rotortrade, highlighting their shared commitment to improving safety standards within the helicopter industry.

The Safety Mentorship Program is led by Fred and Peggy North, in collaboration with a group of elite “Ambassadors” – the most seasoned pilots in the industry. These Ambassadors will carefully vet and recruit a pool of mentors who will guide young pilots, providing them with the knowledge, support, and tools needed to build successful and safe careers in aviation. As the program grows, it will develop an online platform where young pilots, or mentees, can apply to be paired with a mentor in their specific area of interest. Over time, the program aims to sign on more mentors each year, allowing it to expand worldwide.

The next phase of mentor recruitment will take place during key industry events such as Verticon and European Rotors, where gatherings will be organized twice a year to bring new mentors and mentees into the program.
