Helicopter market intelligence company Parapex Media has identified a very interesting scenario – French based helicopter sales company Rotortrade is in the process of a transaction which will see two Airbus H145 helicopters moving from Saudi Arabia to Brazil.
Rotortrade is owned by The Helicopter Company (THC) in Saudi Arabia, and it is two of their Airbus H145 fleet which are being moved, both currently in full THC colours. The pair were ferried from Riyadh to Rotortrade’s European Maintenance Center in Tallard, France, arriving there in mid November.
The aircraft concerned are carrying French registrations F-HRTA and F-HRTB, with the “RT” in those registrations a clear nod to Rotortrade.
Both H145s are also subject to registration reservations in Brazil as PR-OFE and PR-OFD respectively, and it is believed their end user will be Omni Taxi Aereo.
Once these aircraft appear on the Brazilian aircraft register, it will be clear whether this transaction is a lease or a sale.
