An exciting milestone for ZFDS. The Zambia Flying Doctor Service (ZFDS) has unveiled one of its newly acquired helicopter (9J-KDK, named after our first patron and Republican President Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda). This was done both in Lusaka and Ndola Districts respectively marking a significant advancement in our mission to enhance lifesaving healthcare services across Zambia.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Republican President H.E Mr Hakainde Hichilema for the support and ensuring that the ZFDS is recapitalised.
Special thanks go to our Past and Present Ministers of Health, Hon.Sylvia T. Masebo and Hon. Elijah J. Muchima respectively.
Our guest of honor for the day, Hon. Frank Tayali, Minister of Transport and logistics, who officiated in Lusaka and Copperbelt Province, Minister Hon.Elisha Matambo, who officiated in Ndola, we are grateful. The ZAF Commander, Lieutenant General Oscar Msitu Nyoni, we are grateful for hosting us at the ZAF Base in Lusaka.
Our gratitude goes to the traditional leaders, His Royal Highness Chief Nkambo and His Royal Highness Chief Chiwala of Masaiti District.

The ZFDS board led by Dr.Rosemary Kumwenda, your leadership is exemplary and we are grateful to have you and the entire board providing guidance to us.
