The helicopter was trying to return to Lae when it went missing between Mumeng and Wafi – marginal visual conditions, pilot was not IFR rated, helicopter was not IFR equipped. Two security guards and the expatriate pilot, Peter Wallace, were on board the helicopter. There were no survivors... Read more
