Get your clubs ready! The Helicopter Foundation International (HFI) is planning a major fund raising effort at HELI-EXPO 2010. The HFI Board of Directors is organizing a golf tournament for Friday, February 19, 2010 at the Tour 18 Golf Course in Houston, TX. At Tour 18 Houston, they have reproduced some of the most famous holes in US golf history. Want to play 17 at Sawgrass, 18 at Bay Hill; well, you can at the HFI Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament.
Tee time for the tournament will be a 12:30 shotgun start. It will be a scramble format tournament. So put together a foursome or you can sign up as an individual and we will put you on a team.
The course is located a short 15-minute taxi ride from the Houston Intercontinental Airport and bus service will be provided to and from the Hilton Hotel/Convention Center. So if you arrive on Friday morning, you can get to the course in time to play and we will have a place for your luggage and a way for you to get to your hotel. If you would like to travel light, the course has rental clubs available (be sure to call ahead to reserve a set 281-540-1818 x13). There will be a box lunch for you on arrival and a BBQ dinner after the tournament. This is the first of what is going to be an annual event at HELI-EXPO.
