Eurocopter Canada confirms the sale of three AS350 B2’s, two EC130 B4’s and one AS350 B3 aircraft with Capitale Hélipro based in Quebec City.
With the delivery of six new helicopters by July 2011 from the Eurocopter Canada Limited (ECL) facility in Fort Erie, Ontario, Capitale Hélipro will have a total fleet of 11 Eurocopter aircraft consisting of five AS350 B2’s, three EC130 B4’s, two AS350 B3’s and one EC120 B available for the operating season.

Capitale Hélicoptère, is currently located just outside of Quebec City. Capitale Hélicoptere’s new facility located in the Québec Airport will break ground later this month. This impressive expansion will aid in the development of their training school as they have recently received a large influx of student and new helicopter owners.
Capitale Hélicoptere’s Charter department is currently performing aerial work, as well as, passenger transport and VIP services. Capitale Hélicoptère has standing offer with the Canadian Government (PWGSC), Hydro-Quebec; several divisions within the provincial government and numerous engineering firms.
The last of the three AS350 B2’s will be delivered in July, 2011. Renowned for its enhanced performance, excellent safety features and reduced operating costs; the single-engine AS 350B2, powered with a Turbomeca Arriel 1D1 engine, has a proven track record. Its flexibility and excellent value make it a very sought-after helicopter used to perform a wide range of missions including; passenger transport, aerial work and fire fighting.
Delivery of the AS350 B3 to Capitale Hélicoptère is slated for June 2011. The AS 350B3 is “the high performance” light single-engine Ecureuil helicopter powered by a Turbomeca Arriel 2B turbine engine and is equipped with the FADEC system (Full Authority Digital Engine Control). It is ideally suited for operations in conditions that include; mountainous areas, extreme heat and for very demanding missions, performance wise.
Two EC130 B4’s are set to be delivered in the 2nd quarter of 2011. The EC 130 B4 is a light 7-8 seat single engine helicopter which offers exceptional qualities of silence, comfort and space. Low external noise emission (-8.5dB better than ICAO requirement), due to the low noise “Fenestron” and the FADEC system (Full Authority Digital Engine Control), in order to optimize noise signature in overflight without operational limitations.
