Classifieds website Craigslist is currently hosting the following advert (here)
“Timberline Air Service is a complete turn-key external load helicopter company that is currently operating Bell UH-1Ls. Timberline has been operating since 1983, the company includes complete ground support equipment, extensive spares inventory to support both UH-1Ls. Timberline has an excellent work history and potential room for growth. Timberline has an average yearly gross of $500,000 to $700,000 range with the use of only one helicopter. The current owner is currently looking forward to retirement and is willing to discuss training and advising the future owners on a contractual basis. Inventory includes; Bell UH-1L N154TL, Bell UH-1L N155TL, Freightliner 4,200 gal. fuel tanker, Chevrolet 1,650 gal. fuel tanker, Trailmobile 24′ service van and Ford 20′ van. There is also more equipment and inventory, so please inquire for its too much to list. Please contact today for more detailed information.”
Timberline Air Service is based at Monroe, Oregon. Looking at the FAA register, we also find UH-1s N457CC and N157LC, as well as Hiller N62392 – although it is not clear from the advert above whether these still exist, have been sold on, or what? We also find N154TL and N155TL listed as UH-1E not UH-1L. Obviously something for potential buyers to investigate further.
