With a total of 191 R66s shipped in 2012, it’s clear that the company’s turbine helicopter is a great success, even without certification in Canada, Russia and most significantly the EASA countries in Europe.

When making their annual statement on production numbers, Robinson noted that their top priority – based on customer demand – is to get floats and a cargo hook certified for the R66.
