Gulf Helicopters have taken delivery of three AW189s to date, with a fourth not far away.  The first two of these are now based at Luqa in Malta.  HeliHub.com understands that the Qatar-baesd operator hasopters have a contract to support oil/gas rigs off Libya for Eni North Africa BV and that operations commenced on 24th October 2014 with AgustaWestland representatives on hand.

Gulf Helicopters are currently supporting the Zagreb 1 exploration rig under this contract
