DART Aerospace and its Russian distributor Heliatica LLC announce that SkyTech LLC (SkyService), located in Almaty region in the Republic of Kazakhstan, installed the PA100 PUREair Engine Protection System on their new H130 helicopter. The aircraft completion was performed by Heliswiss Ibérica in Barcelona.
SkyTech LLC (SkyService) is a multi-mission operator performing high altitude flights in breath-taking mountain areas such as: glacier Tujuk-Su, the peaks of Khan Tengri in the Charyn Canyon and Talgar in Zailijsky Ala Tau foothills, among others. SkyTech were looking for the best engine protection system offering consistent engine air filtration performance without restrictions on operations in falling and blowing snow and minimal impact on engine output in order to perform missions at altitudes over 4,500 meters (14,764 feet).
“The self-cleaning maintenance-free nature of the PA100 vortex generator particle separation system was also a big factor for SkyTech,” says Mrs. Tatiana Dushenkova, Heliatica’s General Director. “No additional spare filters inventory and especially no oiling required considerably reduces the cost of maintenance”.
In only its first year of full certification, the PA100 is in service with more than 10 operators worldwide, with over 20 additional installations planned this year. In partnership with Heliatica, DART Aerospace’s products will be exhibited at the 9th International Helicopter Industry Exhibition, HeliRussia 2016 in Moscow from May 19 to 21. The PA100 PUREair Engine Protection System will be displayed along with other DART solutions.
