In September this year, Bell was awarded a $52.1million foreign military sales contract from the US Department of Defence. They were contracted to create five Huey II for the Kenyan Air Force. The first delivery of Huey IIs will arrive in Kenya in the coming months. The aircrafts themselves are a remanufactured combination of the commercial Bell 212 and the engine of an 1800 shp Honeywell T53-L-703, reports Defence Web.
