The Pentagon has given the Marine Corps permission to begin purchasing 200 of the new Lockheed King Stallion. The acquisition cost has risen 6.9% from $29 billion to $31 billion. The King Stallion CH-53K will be able to transport up to 27,000 pounds, reports Bloomberg.
