As French manufacturer Helicoptères Guimbal continues to find success with their composite two-seater Cabri G2, so their distributor network increases.  The company has confirmed to HeliHub.com that BC Helicopters in Abbotsford, British Columbia, have been appointed the distributor for the province of British Columbia in Canada.  BC Helicopters were the first operator of the type in Canada, and they have been joined with a second example being operated by Synergy Aviation.  BC Helicopters is initially not restricted to British Columbia either, and has the freedom to sell throughout Canada until other distributors are appointed in other provinces.

Mischa Gelb, co-owner of BC Helicopters with wife Amy and brother Sancho, also has an increasingly popular YouTube channel called Pilot Yellow.  In this he regularly documents his flying, including training flights, in the three helicopters that they operate – a Schweizer 300C, a Robinson R44 and the Guimbal Cabri G2.  The brothers are seen below – Mischa (left) and Sancho (centre) with Bruno Guimbal at the handover of their Cabri at the factory in France.
