Mills-Peninsula Medical Centre had to demolish their helipad in 2011 when they rebuilt the hospital. Since then, they have not been able to airlift patients to the hospital. They now will have a new helipad. As reported by CBS Local, the helipad will emphasise on specialized care from smaller hospitals.
