The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission has awarded Chief Warrant Officers Jack Mucha and Corey Sayer and Staff Sgt Chad McCan and Sgts Aaron Adam for their bravery during last year’s floods.
The crew of the Bayou 69 rescued six people. A wildlife agent and firefighter had been clinging to their overturned boat for hours as other rescue boats couldn’t reach them. They had with them civilians they had rescued. They were the first rescued by the Bayou 69, reports Chipley Paper. The crew then rescues a state worker and state trooper who were stuck on a road grader. The men were awarded Enforcement Citizens Exceptional Bravery Awards.
