Lesley Taylor has filed a lawsuit against her helicopter pilot, John B. Kjekstad. She claims that Kjekstad has used her company as a “personal piggy bank.”
Lesley Taylor paid Kjekstad $500,000 annually to run the operations of her helicopter tour company, Helicopter Flight Services, based in Lower Manhattan. The lawsuit includes a claim that Kjekstad used over $3.5 million for personal use.
Kjekstad allegedly took $45,000 in December 2017 under “hangar construction” but actually used the money on an addition to his own home. It also states that Kjekstad used $1.3 million for a twin-engine helicopter and jet aircraft for a business venture he was starting on his own. Jon Whitcomb, Kjekstad’s attorney has called Taylor a disgruntled investor and that the lawsuit is a power grab, reports NY Post.
