Boston MedFlight has planned to move into their new facility on the civilian side of Hanscom by June 2018. The proposals for the move started in 2015, as the current base is on the military side, making it difficult to operate. The new base will include a hangar, simulation lab for medical emergencies and training for first responders, reports Bedford. They also plan to use solar panels to power all their electrical needs.
