This small piece of equipment called “Heli-TAWS” – or Terrain Avoidance and Warning system.  “It’s extremely important. This is a probably the best piece of technology we could put in the aircraft, besides the night-vision goggles we have,” Collier County Flight Operations Director Steve Adams  explained.
